Brand formalisation, web deisgn & ongoing digital marketing

Cape Vet Equine, a leading, all-female equine veterinary practice in the Western Cape, sought to enhance their brand presence and engagement with their clientele through a comprehensive marketing and branding overhaul. The project encompassed a complete website redesign, strategic social media content creation, targeted event marketing, effective email campaigns, and cohesive brand development.

“Kim has been a pleasure to work with. Her ideas and vision in creating a great brand has been a saving grace for a tech challenged, non-creative as myself. She was always available and willing to help, and I am very pleased with the results.”

— Dr Lauren Brewis, Partner at Cape Vet Equine

Objectives

Brand Set Up & Formalisation

  • Using their existing logo and marketing collateral, formalise the Cape Vet brand.

  • Develop brand guidelines that the team can adhere to going forward.

Website Design

  • Set up a new website on an easier to use, beginner friendly platform (Squarespace)

  • Restructure the site for improved user experience and navigation, with a focus on showcasing Cape Vet’s services, team expertise, and community involvement.

  • Look and feel should be modern, minimal and align with the newly formalised brand guidelines.

Ongoing Digital Marketing

  • Social Media - we provide social media posts that are correctly branded and build a strong, engaging presence that resonates with the equine community.

  • Event Marketing - Cape Vet wants to become more actively involved in educating their client base. We have assisted them with the set up, planning and marketing of several events such as the Women’s Day Workshop and a charity drive.

  • Email Marketing - we create, write, design and send targeted email (and WhatsApp) campaigns to inform clients of updates or upcoming events. All resulting in high click to open rates and conversions.

RESULTS

Through this collaborative effort, Cape Vet Equine successfully strengthened its brand presence both online and offline. The website rework resulted in improved user engagement and easier access to information. Social media content saw increased interaction and reach, while the event marketing campaigns led to high participation rates and positive feedback from attendees. The email campaigns effectively communicated key updates and fostered stronger client relationships.

Overall, Cape Vet’s enhanced brand identity now better reflects their professional, compassionate approach to equine care, positioning them as a leader in the industry.
